  1. Trigger: New Item in Posting Campaign
  2. Trigger: New Item in Personal Feed
  3. Action: Create Item in Personal Feed

Zapier allows you to connect RSS Ground to thousands of other web services. Automated connections called Zaps, set up in minutes with no coding, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn't be possible.

Each Zap has one app as a "Trigger", where your information comes from and which causes one or more "Actions" in other apps, where your information gets sent automatically.

RSS Ground can be used as a Trigger for automated content sharing. There are two scenarios: (a) New Item in Posting Campaign or (b) New Item in Personal feed. In Scenario (a) one of your posting campaigns will be the content source. When this campaign will be making a new post, it will automatically send this post also to Zapier. In scenario (b) one of your personal feeds will be the content source. As soon as you add new item to this personal feed it will be automatically sent to Zapier.

RSS Ground can be used as an Action for content collection: when new content appears in the selected trigger, a new item will be created in the specified personal feed.

Trigger: New Item in Posting Campaign

Before creating a Zap you need to create at least one Integration Platforms posting campaign or enable integration in one of your regular posting campaigns.

1. Log in to your Zapier account or create a new account.

2. Click "Create Zap" button.

3. Select RSS Ground app as a Trigger (an event that starts your Zap).

4. Set up an even as trigger (This is what starts the Zap) - New Item in Posting Campaign. This means that when a new post will be made by your posting campaign, it will also be sent to this Zap.

Press Continue.

5. Authenticate your RSS Ground account. Press Continue.

6. Select a posting campaign from the dropdown menu. Press Continue.

7. Press Test trigger, to confirm your trigger is set up correctly. You will be offered three test posts as an example. That means that your trigger is set up correctly.

Select on of the test posts and press Continue with selected item.

8. Select an Action (an event a Zap performs after it starts)

9. Set up your action app.

10. Test and Publish your Zap.

When the selected posting campaign will be making a post it will also be automatically sharing content to this Zap and activate a selected action.

We have integrated Full Zapier Experience into RSS Ground, meaning that you can now create and edit Zaps without leaving your RSS Ground account, by clicking on Zapier logo in your integration posting campaign.
