When you search for CJ Affiliate products using RSS Ground service, you send search requests to the CJ Affiliate API (Application programming interface). According to the rules, all API requests must be authenticated.
To authenticate your CJ Affiliate request previously you used Developer Key. But Developer keys have been deprecated. Instead of developer keys, CJ Affiliate implemented Personal Access Tokens. A Personal Access Token is a unique identification string for your account. Personal Access Tokens secure authentication when accessing the CJ APIs.
In the left sidebar open the Authentication accordion menu and click the Personal Access Tokens option.
Enter any relevant name to the Register a New Personal Access Token field and press the Register button.
You will see the message New Personal Access Token Created. It will show your token name and the token itself. The string of numbers is your token and is what you will be using in RSS Ground to generate your CJ Affiliate feeds.
NOTE: as soon as you leave this page you won't be able to see your token again, it will be hidden. And if you don't remember your token you will have to generate a new one. So save your token in a secret location to find it when it is needed.
You can have several tokens and they all be saved here. You can see the list of your tokens below in Manage Personal Access Tokens.
You can see only the names of your tokens and you can't see the tokens themselves. This was done for security matters. The only option you have is to remove a token from the list.
Note: be careful, as soon as you remove any token from the list, all feeds generated in RSS Ground with this token will stop working.
Once again, for security matters, you should keep your personal access tokens secure and private. Never put them in publicly accessible places.
We can recommend saving your Personal Access Token in your RSS Ground default settings. Every time when you will be generating your CJ Affiliate feeds it will be entered into the Basic settings automatically.
